The term “hybrid” has started to be the buzz word since the start of the health crisis. Trainings are hybrid, trade shows and other events too. Just like meetings and work, which is also becoming hybrid. All hybrids, in the sense that digital and face-to-face are combined.
Hybridization characterizes the entanglement of various forms of employment and statuses which mean that we can no longer be satisfied with a dualist reading of the labor market opposing a protected labor market to an unprotected one. The presence of multiple and changing forms is the richness of the system, at least from a heuristic point of view. A form can dominate a time and then give way to others, which come from other spaces, or which have been secreted by other instances. They are part of different time frames.
